Early Voting has begun. You can cast your vote between April 30th – May 18th and mark this off your list before school is out and summer arrives! I hope I can earn your vote and look forward to continuing my service as your District 130 State Representative. Background

Throughout my service to District 130, I have had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with so many residents throughout our community. For those of you who I have not met personally, I hope you’ll take a moment to learn more about who I am and what I bring to the table as I represent your voice in the State House. I am a statesman, policymaker, and detail-oriented workhorse, and I believe in the simple sense of right versus wrong. I grew up in Griffin, GA, met my wife here and we are raising our son here. I am proud to call this community my home. My highest priorities are family, hard work, and service to others. It has been a tremendous honor serving you under the Gold Dome, and I’m asking for your vote on May 22 to continue fighting for our conservative values. Priorities

• Lowering Taxes: As a CPA and a legislator, I have been committed to lowering costs, simplifying our tax policy, and protecting the integrity of our tax code. Georgia has been the number one place to do business in America for the last six consecutive years, mainly because of our low taxes. In 2018, I was part of the process to cut income taxes for the first time in our history by almost $5 billion over the next 10 years. I have fought against back-door tax increases for home and property owners in District 130 and statewide, and with your support and your vote on May 22nd, I will continue that fight.
• Encouraging Economic Growth: I have worked to create an environment that attracts employers and supports opportunity in our community during my service under the Gold Dome. For example, I have worked to assess Georgia’s assets, strengths, and weaknesses, and review our ports, infrastructure, and tax system in an effort to help simplify the way people do business and get government out of the way of opportunity across our state. As your District 130 State Representative, one of my biggest priorities is to keep Georgia the number one state to do business with by working with area businesses and keeping regulations and taxes to a minimum and bringing more higher-paying jobs for our citizens.
